The CHL1 (Intermediate) Course is designed for students who already understand the basics of shooting and want to take the next step in developing practical concealed carry skills
This performance-based course moves beyond the fundamentals and focuses on building the skills needed to run your firearm safely and efficiently under pressure. Students will work on drawing from the holster, clearing common malfunctions, and an introduction to moving and shooting.
The goal of this course is to help students become more capable, confident, and prepared for concealed carry in the real world. Instruction focuses on safe gun handling, efficiency, and developing the ability to solve problems while operating your firearm.
There is a non-refundable $80 security deposit for this course. There is also $25 cash range fee that will be collected at the beginning of the class.
Prerequisites: Passed our basic pistol course or provide proof of completing a class equivalent to it (online/class room CHL classes do not count).
Required equipment:
*Pistol
*Ammo (200 rounds minimum, no self defense rounds)
*Holster (that you plan to conceal carry with)
*Mags (at least one extra mag, preferably with a mag holder)
*Eye protection and hearing protection
* Dummy rounds for your pistol.
* Knee pads (optional, but recommend)
* Appropriate clothing for the weather.
* Shoes/boots with ankle support
* Note pad/pen
* Snacks/lunch
